Hello here, I am a student in The Federal University of Technology, Akure. Ondo state ,Nigeria, studying Ecotourism and Wildlife Management. I will be on a six (6) month Industrial Training next year, and I would like to have it done in Kakum National Park.
I need help on the necessary things to be done such as documents to obtain (permit).
Also accommodation ,security and stipend.)

We have read about the Kakum national park and we want to go there for a visit. In some websites we have read that you can stay over night in tree houses inside the park, is that still possible? How do we book a tree house and how much does it cost for 2 adults, one night, in January?

I visited the park in June of this year. I'm coming back in August, with a group of 40 American social workers for an international conference. Unfortunately, there won't be time to visit the park. However, there was a female vendor who had a gift shop with lots of hand made necklaces. I LOVED her work. I wonder if the vendor is willing and/or able to come to our hotel in El Mina (Coconut Grove) or in Accra (La Palm Royal) to show us her jewelry? I'm sure she will get lots of sales.
